Tendoryu Aikido - International Women Day

My name is Yulia, I live in Russia, Primorsky Kray but I was born in Kamchatka.
I am an accountant by profession and have two children.

Why did I chose Tendoryu Aikido?  I began practicing aikido in 2011 year, not so long ago.  My husband started doing aikido at that time too and he said that I would not be a wife to him if I didn’t join aikido. Hm.

I do not know the exact reason behind why I started doing aikido. Maybe to keep the marriage? But seriously, I just had a goal of training my body and soul. And I have definitely gotten better at it.

Kenji Simizu sensei has passed so much to me and it means the world. I am grateful to him for showing Aikido Tendoryu to me. He truly believed in me.

Also many thanks to our teachers - they are all so different but they do a common thing. Aikido Tendoryu gave me a great circle of friends from all over the world. Thank you so much Birgit-s, you are always very kind to us.

It’ always  pleasant to come to Tendokan. There is always an atmosphere of support and kindness. We really miss this place and people.

So much has been done by you, but everything is just beginning.
