Why Tendoryu Aikido?

Never have I thought that someday I would doing in martial arts. But one day, I decided to try Tendoryu Aikido, and glad I chose it.

Aikido has become more than just a sport that allows me to strengthen the body physically. Aikido taught me how to react quickly and make conflict-free decisions in problematic situations in life.

I also love aikido because there is no desire to assert oneself on the tatami due to the defeat of another. There is no rivalry that inevitably generates envy and disorder.

I especially like training in Tendokan where the atmosphere is filled with goodwill, sincere mutual assistance and it allows you to calmly master the technique of Tendoryu Aikido.

In honor of the 50th anniversary of Tendokan, I want to express my gratitude and great appreciation to our esteemed Shimizu Sensei for his long-term contribution to the development of Tendoryu Aikido around the world and in Russia as well.

Without his consent and support, our Aikido Tendoryu Federation would not have opened in Vladivostok, Ussuriysk and Artem. And there would have been no opportunity to engage in such a wonderful martial art as Tendoryu Aikido.
